PLS_Toolbox is a collection of essential and advanced chemometric routines that work within the MATLAB computational environment. It contains the tools required by chemical engineers, analytical chemists and other analysis-driven scientists to explore their data and build predictive models. PLS_Toolbox gets its name from the Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression method, which has become the standard calibration method in many regression applications, but the toolbox now includes a unified graphical interface and over 300 functions for use in a wide variety of technical areas.

New to multivariate analysis (or just want to learn more)? The extensive PLS_Toolbox documentation includes a complete Chemometrics Tutorial with discussion of advanced techniques, and an Introduction to Linear Algebra. An Introduction to MATLAB is included for the novice MATLAB user, along with an introduction to the advanced data handling tools. Also take a look at Solo, our stand-alone product which does not require Matlab.

Analyze Multivariate Image Data with MIA_Toolbox

Quick Links: Product Details / Download / Buy On-line / Demonstration / Pricelist

Multivariate Image Analysis (MIA) toolbox expands the PLS_Toolbox domain to make analysis of multivariate images simple and expands the functionality of PLS_Toolbox to include many image-specific functions.

With MIA_Toolbox, multivariate images from remote sensing to microscopy can be easily analyzed using the same PLS_Toolbox tools you are already familiar with. MIA_Toolbox allows you to load, manipulate, and analyze multivariate images in the Analysis Graphical interface as well as using many of the higher-level command-line functions. Principal components analysis, multivariate curve resolution, SIMCA and PLSDA classification, K-Means clustering, and even regression can all be performed on images with this extension pack.

MIA_Toolbox also adds a number of functions which are designed to take advantage of the special "spatial" relationship inherent in a multivariate image including functions like Evolving Window Factor Analysis and Maximal Autocorrelative Factors, and a suite of Texture functions.

NOTE: MIA_Toolbox requires PLS_Toolbox Version 4.1 or later. You must upgrade your PLS_Toolbox license to Version 4.1 to use MIA_Toolbox.

Improved Spectral Data Analysis with EMSC_Toolbox

Quick Links: Product Details / Download / Buy On-line / Demonstration / Pricelist

Extended Multiplicative Scatter Correction (EMSC) is a powerful preprocessing technique used to isolate and remove complicated multiplicative and additive effects, such as those caused by light scattering in reflectance spectroscopy. It expands on the popular Multiplicative Scatter/Signal Correction (MSC) technique by offering much improved flexibility in identifying known interferences to remove as well as scaling targets and known analyte spectra. Eigenvector Research is offering this powerful patented technique as an add-on for use with PLS_Toolbox as EMSC_Toolbox.
